My name is Marty Boardman and I’m the creator of Free Real Estate Education.com, a collection of FREE money making tips and ideas for real estate investors, real estate professionals, Realtors, home buyers and home sellers.
I’ve been a full-time real estate entrepreneur, investor and instructor since 2002. During that time I’ve acted as the principal in over 200 real estate transactions in Arizona, Illinois and Texas.
I’m the owner and Chief Financial Officer for Rising Sun Capital Group, LLC, a real estate investment firm based in Gilbert, AZ. We purchase homes at the courthouse steps and public REO auctions. We also find REO and short sales from the multiple listing service. We fix and flip, buy and hold and provide seller financing.
I got my real estate license in 2007 because it became clear to me that some pretty good deals could be found on the Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service and I wanted to get paid to find them. In 2009, I became an accredited instructor for the Arizona Academy of Real Estate. My class, Attracting Investor Clients is good for 3 hours of agency law for Arizona Realtors.

I created this blog because I wanted to share my successes and failures with the world. Most real estate professionals won’t talk about their mistakes because it’s bad for business. Not me. I stopped pretending everything was okay in 2007 when I traded in my Mercedes Benz for a 1995 Honda Accord. The music stopped and I didn’t have a chair. I live in Gilbert, Arizona with my wife and two daughters.
